Hiking in the Zillertal
The Hippach / Mayrhofen vacation region offers you an extensive network of marked hiking trails in summer. You can explore the Zillertal mountains directly from our front door and do not need a vehicle for easy family hikes. In summer you can also use the hiking bus. The bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk from the house.
Biking on vacation
Over 800 km of cycle network await you in the Zillertal. From very easy – directly on the Ziller promenade with the Zillertal cycle path through the entire Zillertal, to very challenging with routes to the highest alpine pastures through forests. You can hire bikes and e-bikes from our partner companies and explore the mountains.
Climbing and via ferrata
The via ferratas in the Hippach / Mayrhofen vacation region are a very special experience. Here you will find numerous rock formations, climbing gardens and via ferratas. Pure thrills and a good dose of self-conquest are the order of the day on the secured via ferratas. More information and options for beginners are available at the Penkenbahn valley station. You can practise there and borrow the equipment free of charge.
ZILLERTAL ACTIVCARD
The Zillertal Activcard is valid for the entire summer season and allows free or reduced admission to many attractions in the valley. Among other things, you can use mountain railroads, outdoor swimming pools and local public transport free of charge. Other attractions are discounted by 10%. So nothing stands in the way of your hiking and vacation enjoyment.
